I'm an American woman who moved to Rome, #Italy in 2008 after living in Los Angeles for ten years.
A Hollywood screenwriter (Jumping the Broom, Caribbean Summer) and interior decorator, I'm a woman of a "certain age" trying to figure out this new stage of life. Single, no children (three nephews), working in a creative field during a very unstable time. Recently lost my parents. Have a big move coming up. It's a bittersweet life.
I was born in NYC to French Caribbean parents. Moved to suburban NJ when I was ten (which is the reason I know what year Bon Jovi's Slippery When Wet dropped). I've had an eclectic career path. I know my parents were very concerned! Still learning and growing. Trying to enter my Rich Auntie Era. Really, it's about flipping time.
This channel about all things Italiano, lifestyle (travel, design, food/cooking, style/fashion, etc.) and Saint Martin/Anguilla.
