Sarmistha sings wide range of songs - Bengali Old, Modern and Filmi songs, Hindi light musics and filmi Songs, Gazal. However, she prefers to remain versatile to address non bengali audience. Sarmistha prefers to do Rabindra Sangeet Programme following original notes of Gurudev and do not follow Dakshini style.
Sarmistha released several Albums/ songs . Rabindra Sangeet Album, Akash Keno Dake, Dugga Elo.
