Channel Description
My channel pertains mainly of the Permaculture Method of Planting a Food Forest, Starting the first year with planting the larger fruit trees and preparing the ground by laying cardboard over the existing grass.
Step two will be spreading wood chips over that and planting all perennials , such as pollinator attracting flower bushes. I will then plant all my herbs and vegetables in between all my fruit trees and perennials. This should be self sustaining by year 3-5.
I live in Tennessee, zone 7a and I am a retiree 66 years old doing this along with my husband, both of us are passionate about nature and living by the Smoky Mountains National Park allows us to post videos of this beautiful area.
