Clozure was founded by lead guitarist Michael Cordle following his service in the US Army. Michael always had bigger dreams, even with notable local success in Alabama. The addition of rhythm guitarist Matthew Russell and drummer Michael McCann on drums in 2019 drove Clozure to realize those dreams are attainable. 2024 was a year to remember with the release of their singles under the new line-up, The Devil Effect, Nevermore, Criminal Mind, and their impressive cover of Bring Me to Life from Evanescence ft Joshua Roberts, frontman of Magnolia Park. In a year alone they were able to share the stage with Tantric, Sponge, Powerman 5000, Saliva, Drowning Pool, & Fozzy. Fate favored the band with the opportunity to add lyricist/vocalist Nikollaj & bassist Zack Taylor. This change created the final elements for everything that Clozure represents. Clozure progressed towards their debut year while charting #1 on Amazon alternative charts, #3 iTunes metal charts &Top 25 on the DRT Charts.
