נשים עושות שלום היא תנועת שטח א-מפלגתית רחבה, הגדולה בארץ. התנועה הוקמה בקיץ 2014 בעקבות מבצע "צוק איתן", והולכת וגדלה מידי יום. התנועה מונה עשרות אלפי חברות מימין, מרכז ושמאל, יהודיות וערביות, דתיות וחילוניות, מהמרכז ומהפריפריה – כולן מאוחדות בדרישה להסכם מדיני מכבד, מוסכם ולא אלים שיביא לסוף הסכסוך בין ישראל והפלסטינים.
חברות התנועה בכל רחבי הארץ יוזמות ומארגנות פעילויות מקומיות וארציות מגוונות ויצירתיות במסגרת מבנה של כ-50 צוותי שטח, ולצידם צוותים מקצועיים שנותנים תמיכה בנושאים שונים כגון קשרי ממשל, תקשורת, דיגיטל, פרויקטים, אסטרטגיה, מגוון ועוד.

Women Wage Peace is a broad grassroots movement, which has tens of thousands of members from the right, the center and the left of the political spectrum, Jews and Arabs, religious and secular, from the center of the country and the periphery, women from kibbutzim and from settlements, all of whom are united in a demand for a mutually binding non-violent accord, agreeable to both sides
