Shad Hagan-MSCJ

I am Shad Hagan, a formerly incarcerated individual who went on to work as a Correctional Case Manager at Dick Conner Correctional Facility in Oklahoma from July 2022 to October 2023. My experience uniquely positions me to understand both sides of the incarceration system: as someone who has been through it and as someone who worked within it. In addition to my Lived Experiences, I am a doctoral scholar with an MS in Criminal Justice and a BS in Corrections. I have faced many barriers throughout my journey.

Now, I’m working to raise awareness of these issues, hoping to spark necessary conversations about reform, transparency, and accountability within the corrections system. And raise money through online platforms for my advocacy.
