The Texas Mile welcomes drivers of street legal sports cars, motorcycles, trucks, and concept race cars to test their top speeds on a 1-mile straight stretch of pavement. The events feature everyday people as amateur participants, novices, and professional racers alike who all share the need for speed- without fear of tickets or jail time and in a safe environment. Each event lasts for 3 days- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday averaging 500 runs per day. Events range in participation from 160-250 racers with up to an average of 3,000 spectators and online following reaching over 2 million.
