Road To Off Grid

Welcome to the Road To Off Grid! We’re Pete and Hayley, a husband and wife team from the south of the UK, building our own off grid tiny home from scratch and documenting the whole thing as we go.

What started as a plan to convert a 7.5 tonne Mercedes 814 into a camper has grown into something much bigger. We've moved into the next phase of the project and are now designing and building a custom tiny home, with all the systems needed to live independently on the road and eventually on our own land.

This channel follows the real process. The design changes, the mistakes, the learning curve, and the moments where things finally come together. We’re not experts. We figure things out by doing them, and we share it all honestly.
