Our journey began in 1970 when the Walker family purchased a farm nestled at the base of the Marble Mountains in Northern California. With a vision for the land and a legacy of hard work, StarWalker Organic Farms became one of the first certified organic farms in the United States in the 1980s. With the 4th generation of Walkers now part of stewarding the land, we're honored to be Regenerative Organic Certified® (ROC), adhering to strict regenerative organic standards, including chemical-free production, sustainable water use, and a commitment to biodiversity and animal welfare.
As the producer, processor, and brand, we're rooted in a desire to sustain the earth for future generations. We’re proud of being the first and only producer of ROC® pork in the world and ROC® beef in the US, along with having the first and only ROC® jerky in the world. We also sell regenerative hay, tallow balms & candles, and merchandise that reflects the spirit of the farm.
