Her recent performances include concerto performances with some of the world’s leading orchestras such as the RTE Ireland National Symphony Orchestra, Tampere Philharmonic in Finland, Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra, Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra, Osaka Symphony Orchestra, Magdeburg Philharmonic Orchestra in Germany, Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra, and Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra among others; as well as recital tours over 20 countries in Asia, Europe and the Americas. Her performances during 2019/20 season are in U.S, Canada, France, Bulgaria, Netherlands, Austria, Hong Kong, China and Japan.
Born in Kagoshima, Japan, Daimo is an endorser of Marimba One, Innovative Percussion, and Zildjian Cymbals. She is currently on the faculty of New York University Steinhardt and The Juilliard School pre-college division.
