Channel Description

Broaden is a purpose-led filmmaking studio co-founded by Bryony Simcox and George Webster in 2019.

We craft films which shift perspectives, inspire action and deliver impact.

We are a collective of makers and doers who partner with bold and brave organisations. Our collaborators include the World Design Capital 2022, the BBC Philharmonic, Adfree Cities, British Council, the National Union of Students, Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance, the Commonwealth Games, Manchester Collective and National Orchestras for All.

Our debut documentary 'The Hundred Miler' has amassed over 300,000 views since its release in 2020 and been screened at multiple international film festivals.

We're always on the lookout for new stories to tell: especially spanning topics such as urban design, creative expression, the natural world, sustainability in the 21st century, local food, human resilience, and analogue photography.
