Channel Description
Orchestra Les Sadofa is simply, Nyeri's best Live Band. It captures nostalgic decades old Band Music.
Our Band was formed formed about 5 years ago bringing together the late Fine Art teacher/musician Francis Ndegwa's family members and others who have played with us over the years. Two of the band members are recording artists.
The band name is an acronym of our parents names, hence Sons and Daughters of Francis and Adele(Sadofa).
Due to its musical family background, our band is able to create a delightful, well blended sound. Our cover versions are quite memorable.
Our repertoire stretches from Zilizopendwa (oldies Rhumba and Twist), Gospel, Lingala-Rhumba, Sebene styles and a wide range of English, Kikuyu, Swahili including songs in other Kenya languages.
As we say "Bendi Poa Muziki Raha" which simply translates to "Good band good music", catch us live!
