The International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) is currently implementing “Building Electoral and Accountability Capacities, Orderly Norms, and Democratic Governance,” a three-year program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through the Consortium for Elections and Political Process Strengthening (CEPPS). IFES is supporting the Independent National Election Commission (CENI) and the judiciary to build their capacity to resolve election disputes. Additionally, IFES is working with civil society to engage constructively in inclusive, peaceful, efficient and transparent election dispute resolution.
From 2013-17, IFES worked to strengthen legislative and political processes following Guinea’s first-ever democratic and pluralist legislative elections in 2013.
