Empowering Telugu NRIs, Preserving Culture, and Uplifting Communities
The American Progressive Telugu Association (APTA), founded in 2008, is a non-profit organization committed to supporting Telugu NRIs in the United States and addressing community needs worldwide. Our mission is to empower and educate individuals, promote and preserve Telugu culture, and help our members succeed while making a positive social impact.
Over the past 18 years, APTA has contributed ₹18 crores in scholarships to support 10,000+ underprivileged students in India. Through medical camps, cultural events, business forums, and educational initiatives, APTA continues to strengthen our global Telugu community.
Beyond education, APTA actively organizes medical camps in India, business forum meets, career guidance sessions, and community service initiatives.
