I will do my best to create content to make Japanese comprehensible, even if you don't know any Japanese. Just focus on the videos and watch your understanding grow!

Research shows that we subconsciously acquire languages when we understand what we read or what we hear. We do not need to consciously try to memorize words or grammar in the beginning of our language learning. Instead, we should focus on having fun and being relaxed while using the language and, as long as we understand the overall message, we will get better at Japanese.

These videos are designed to provide as much i+1 content (or “Comprehensible Input” as described by Dr. Stephen Krashen) as possible by using pictures in a way that makes the spoken word more easily understandable. In this way, even if you are not able to understand every single word I say, you should be able to get the overall meaning and thus be able to start acquiring Japanese.
