Who is Starface ?

Born Rachel Edwards on December 6, in Kingston, Jamiaca Starface can be described as a hardcore toaster or a singjay with a ton load of versatility.

Growing up in the St. Catherine community of Bridgeport, a largely peaceful suburban community with her grandmother, brother and aunt, she can remember being a tom boy while growing up playing football with her brothers after they finished doing schoolwork.


Starface’s mother emigrated to the United States to work as she tried to ensure that her children had financial stability. Young Edwards went to Dunrobin high school where she received a proper education and the standards of life instill in her, made her into a respectable woman in today’s society. During her teenage years, her peers introduced her to party scene where she fell in love with dancehall lifestyle.
