በኢ/ኦ ተዋህዶ ቤ/ክ የመጥምቀ መለኮት ቅዱስ ዮሀንስ መንፈሳዊ ማኅበር በ1984 ዓ.ም በቦሌ ደብረ ሳሌም ቅዱስ ዮሐንስ መድኃኔዓለም ወአቡነ አረጋዊ ቤተክርስቲያን ፈለገ ዮርዳኖስ ሰንበት ትምህርት ቤት በህጻናት ክፍል ያገለግሉ የነበሩ 17 የሚደርሱ የሰንበት ትምህርት ቤት አባላት በወቅቱ በተለያየ ምክንያት ከሰንበት ትምህርት ቤት አገልግሎት መራራቅ ሲመጣ መሰባሰባቸውን ዳግም ለማስቀጠል በማሰብ በወሩ በሰላሳኛው ቀን የመጥምቀ መለኮት ቅዱስ ዮሐንስን ወርሐዊ በዓልን ለመዘከርና ቃለ-ወንጌልን ለመማማር በማሰብ በማኅበሩ አባላት ቤት በመገኘት የመጥምቀ መለኮት ቅዱስ ዮሐንስን ወርሐዊ ጉባኤ በማክበርና ቃለ-ወንጌልን በመማር ተመሰረተ።
