My favorite model year 1966. Mostly has something to do with the fact my dad pulled into driveway October 12, 1966 with a brand new 1966 F100. I now have 6+ 1966 Ford trucks in various models from a one of only 2 known Ford built 1966 N700 Crew Cabs to a 1 of 2 known 1966 F100 Ranger with factory OverDrive plus a 1966 F250 Ranger less than 10 known.
Of course my Survivor 1966 Cyclone GT I dreamed about for 57 years before finding right one.
I have done multiple engine swaps on the 1966 trucks from Dual Quad 427 side oiler to Raptor Crate engine to 2.7 and 3.5 ecoboosts to a 1966 N700 with 7.3 Godzilla and 10R140 HD Automatic. I am also building a clone of truck my dad bought new.
