He has worked as a professional English-speaking guide in his native country Laos since 2005, when he completed his training and received his guide license from the National Tourism Administration in Vientiane. Prior to his career as a professional guide, Oudone was an English teacher at Luang Prabang Teacher Training College and trained as a reporter at " Vientiane Times" He received his bachelor's degree in English from the National University of Laos in Vientiane. In addition to tourism, his interests include education, sport and music. He married with two children.
