As a writer and theologian, I am passionate about helping to create a more empathetic and inclusive society by writing for social change & advocating for intersectional and accessible education/research. I do that work to the end of harm reduction, healing, and spiritual alignment.
My research centers on the study of Black faith and life/culture. In particular, I focus on the Black church, liberation theologies, theomusicology, and the spiritual & sociohistorical dimensions of hip-hop music/culture.
