I teach Kiswahili– simple as that. I teach learners how to become Kiswahili speakers as quickly as possible. No complicated nonsense. I speak and teach standard, modern, conversational Kiswahili in an uncomplicated way. Simplifying Kiswahili means you start communicating quickly. I am Mwalimu Tina– a Swahili and English teacher, cultural anthropologist, Fulbright Scholar, and postgraduate independent researcher with a Masters degree from the University of Dar es Salaam (Tanzania). I'm also a translator and consultant in matters of language, culture, and travel.

My goal is to make content to motivate beginner and intermediate students of Kiswahili. Learn Kiswahili in a natural and fun way– in context and through Comprehensible Input (CI). Here you will find short stories, short grammar lessons, vlogs, and we play video games, read, and browse the internet in Kiswahili.
