Welcome, 欢迎! I post videos for Chinese language learners (videos with beginner-level Chinese narration of life and animals at my rural home, and beginner-level and low intermediate-level Chinese read-along videos) and videos more relevant to language teachers, sometimes specifically Chinese language teachers. 中文老师们，大家好！
I am a second language learner of Mandarin Chinese and earned my PhD in Foreign Language and ESL Education from the University of Iowa in 2022. I am clinical assistant professor of multilingual education at the University of Louisville. I also independently teach Chinese online to small groups of teens and adults. I am regularly involved in language teacher training and research related to language teacher development, classroom interaction, and Chinese reading.
