Political Drain

I am Doug, a veteran of the U.S. Army, a teacher, a musician, an entertainer, a Christian, a father, and a husband. Originally from Jamaica, I migrated to the U.S., where I served to protect the values and freedoms we hold dear. After working for ten years at a major hotel In Ottawa, I returned to college with an eye on working with wildlife. While attending these courses, the opportunity arose to accept a position with “Friends of The Earth Canada”, a nonprofit focused on Climate Change issues and Reforestation. I retired early and grounded myself in nature and became active with my mother, who founded the Canadian Pagan Federation. Politics, nature and hospitality have been constants in my life, and all three co-exist In My Work Here!
