Channel Description
I'm Reece, the driving force behind @Travel_Beasts. An overlander and adventurer, l've tackled some of the most challenging terrain on Earth in my DIY Land Cruiser overland build. From traversing 50,000km down the Pan-American Highway to long-distance off-road expeditions through Europe and beyond, I showcase the raw, gritty side of 4x4 adventure.
In 2016, I set off on 'once in a lifetime' trip down the Pan-American highway from the USA to Argentina. Living out of my Land Cruiser with a basic setup and roof tent for almost 3 years, little did I know that this would ignite a desire to keep on overlanding in my truck.
In 2019 I performed a 2-year-long body chop and DIY camper build on the vehicle over the course of 2 years. Fast forward to 2021 I set off on a European adventure, navigating the length of Portugal – some 1200 miles – without using paved roads. In 2023, I drove 1,000 miles off-road through the UK.
