Yo wus good, my name’s Ngusha. Born in Makurdi, Nigeria.
After a stint in the UK, my family moved to the US, landing in Champaign-Urbana, Ill. My dad was accepted to LSU, which brought us to Lafayette, LA, then Baton Rouge, LA. Shortly after, we moved to Pensacola, FL, which is where I mainly grew up.
I was HEAVILY influenced by Bone Thugs N Harmony.
By ‘99, I would sneak to Pensacola Beach to battle other local rappers on the boardwalk.
In 2004, after a short stint in jail, flew to Chicago and met with my cousin Haytr to start our label, Skrilla Squad, which turned into s2 ENT.
In ‘09, I put out my first mixtape The Anointed, getting 10,000 copies into the streets of the Gulf Coast & 4 more mixtapes between 2010 & 2018. In Dec 2020, I released "I Am The South", which would get me some attention. Making waves through social media, which lead to my debut album 'Lord, King to A God' in July 2021.
Today, the album has 1.1 million streams and counting.
