Call us old-fashioned, but we don’t see half-assed as the way to do any job. And especially no way to go about building boots. So shift by shift, we build ‘em to work hard and to always work. And once the shift’s over? We’ve got no problem finding other ways, and other places to work them too.



We’ve been crafting footwear on employee-owned American soil since 1892 –pouring our soul into every sole, proving our worth with every welt, furthering our legacy with every lace. We put in the time and apply the elbow grease. We pay our dues, union and otherwise. We understand what it takes to be American workers, because we are American workers.


Every day, we put in the leg-work needed to keep America at work. And so long as there’s grind, grit and feet willing-enough to embrace them, Thorogood will be there, lacing-up our boots, so America can lace up theirs.
