Hi, I’m Akari.
I’m a native Japanese speaker, and I run Mochifika, a Japanese-learning project for learners who want to understand and actually use Japanese.
I’ve been learning and teaching languages for many years, and I’m especially passionate about helping learners move from “understanding” to “speaking” Japanese with more confidence.
I work in both Japanese and English, and I’ve also studied Italian, Polish, German, Swedish, and Spanish, so I understand what it’s like to learn a language from the learner’s side.
