Víctor Rodolfo Jiménez

Victor Rodolfo Jimenez was born in Havana, Cuba, in 1965. He is a prominent film and television producer, as well as a poet. In the audiovisual field, he has worked in advertising, short films, videopoetry, and documentaries, some of which have been recognized at International Film Festivals. His poetry has been published in several magazines in the United States, Europe, and Latin America. He is the author of the poetry collections “Seven Cities” and “Ilusorium”.

Director Statement.
Through my videopoems I hope to offer viewers a glimpse into my world, to share the solace I find in music and poetry, and to evoke a sense of nostalgia and wonder. Videopoetry is not just a medium; it is a bridge between the past and the present, a way to connect with others on a deeply emotional level. It is my way of making sense of the world and my place within it, one frame at a time.
