A Kenyan born upcoming Artist, Ulrykah Benard grew up in Nairobi Kenya up until She relocated to the United States where She currently resides. Her family’s deep ties to Country music and the years she spent soaking up HipHop, Reggae, Soul R&B music in Nairobi, Kenya is what has led to the inspiration that produces Her unique sound. Ulrykah has had the interest in Music all her life, and has written almost 100 pieces over the last 20 Years and just recently released Her Debut Solo “The Revolution”. The Revolution is a hard hitting song that touches on social issues like the Corruption in Kenya, Poverty and Black Lives Matter movement.
