Channel Description
WUC is a ukulele club in Worcester, UK formed in 2010. Our members are a beautiful mixture of beginners, improvers and more experienced (not necessarily better 😀) players. The club meets weekly and also plays around 100 gigs each year (when there isn't a lockdown!). We donate gig fees and rattle buckets to raise funds for an annually selected charity. In 2019 we raised over £11k for the local Parkinson's branch and over £1,800 for Children in Need. We are currently raising monies for Alzheimer's Research UK (over £4k to date). Member's make voluntary donations after attending weekly Zoom sessions. If you would like to attend our Zoom meetings please contact us via our web site.
