JSL (Japanese: The Spoken Language) is a logical, step-by-step method to learn Japanese using Audio-Lingual drills, Communicative Activities, and a strong grammar background. I have adapted the texts into 30 PDF document lessons, which contain links to all audio/video and other info. The videos and activities hosted on YouTube are to be used with the text to practice each lesson. All lessons are at the conversation level, including the response drills, which ingrain language habits for natural communication.

We used this system when I was in university, and I feel it served me well while I was in Japan, so I wanted others to have the same opportunity to learn who may not have access to a Japanese class or just want extra practice. I'm working on supplemental videos such as vocabulary and shadowing, etc., so there are always new uploads going up.

I appreciate your questions in the comments.
