Welcome to Selena's Table – where I cook for real life, not the highlight reel.
This channel started as a homesteading journey – cooking "everything" from scratch, growing what we could, and doing it all ourselves. But somewhere along the way, the pressure to "do it all" turned into burnout.
So I gave myself permission to step back. In real life, and here on the channel.
Now, it’s about finding balance. Sometimes that means scratch cooking. Sometimes it means pulling a freezer meal or using a packet mix because life’s busy and dinner still needs to happen.
You’ll still find homemade remakes, budget meals, and the occasional garden harvest. But above all, you’ll find food that works in real kitchens, on real days, for real people.
