Hello everyone! Welcome to my little corner of play-based Cantonese videos! Storytelling, baking, cooking, singing and crafting etc, all in Cantonese, my native language.
My name is Jo Jo Ma, I'm a mother, a piano teacher with linguistics background and a strong believer in play-based learning. Born and raised in HK and now based in Europe for over 10 years, the greatest contrast in my own education versus the one that my kids now have is CREATIVITY, FREEDOM and HAPPINESS.
I've sent my kids to a local Chinese schools for half a year but it was sad to see them going through repetitive writing and unnecessary emphasis on exams & marks. Since then I started to produce my own learning material to ensure a FUN JOURNEY in language learning for them. Just like a lot of like-minded overseas parents, we are trying our best to protect our cultural heritage in this challenging times.
