Ecosystem Restoration Communities (ERC) is a global, grassroots movement of everyday people that is helping nature heal itself by transforming degraded lands into thriving habitats that benefit biodiversity; soil, water and food systems; climate stability; and human well-being.
ERC is rooted in the belief that community leadership is key to lasting, systemic change for global environmental resilience. This is why at more than 80 restoration communities in over 30 countries across six continents, ERC is empowering local people to become change-makers with the resources, support and knowledge exchange needed to ensure that ecosystem restoration initiatives succeed and receive the long-term, effective care needed to become functioning, flourishing ecosystems that remain intact for generations.
