Welcome to Neutrality Studies, a channel dedicated to peace and world affairs. My name is Pascal Lottaz, I'm an Associate Professor at Kyoto University (Japan) where I research neutrality in international relations.
I'm not a journalist but because I find MSM full of problematic spin, I try to get more clarity about what's going on myself. I'm doing so mostly by talking to smart people who know more than me, and by comparing their different insights. Hence, you find a lot of interviews on my channel—besides a couple of "analysis" videos which are my own take at things.
Disclaimer: sometimes people complain that my views are not "neutral" at all. Totally true! I never claimed to be neutral. I'm claiming to study neutrality. If anything, I am a "neutralist". I believe that more neutral countries in the world can help us to be less violent. When it comes to ongoing mass-violence, I have strong opinions.
