I am the first openly gay man from Saudi Arabia, a political dissident with asylum in the USA. I am a graduate of Kansas State University (KSU) with degrees in political science & economics. I am committed to advocacy for human rights, anti-violence, & LGBTQ+ rights.
I am a sitting member on the board of directors for Missourians to Abolish the Death Penalty & a member of the Kansas City Ad Hoc Committee. I was the first recipient of the International Leadership Award from the KSU Alumni Center & one of the recipients of the 30 Under 30 ΠΚΦ brotherhood fraternity achievement award.
I like to give back to the community by speaking at events, activism, & providing testimony regarding human rights violations. I am passionate about decriminalizing the LGBTQ+ community & ensuring that all people have the same rights & opportunities, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
