The Patient Education Institute develops X-Plain, the most extensive library of videos and tutorials for patient education (5000+ videos and tutorials). X-Plain programs include questions to verify understanding. PEI licenses X-Plain apps and services to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare partners. PEI’s Medical Advisory Board writes and periodically reviews X-Plain content according to US standards of care. More than 400 million patients and users have watched X-Plain programs since 1995.
