Norfolk Broads with Dave Whitworth

My channel nowadays is used in the main for videos of the Norfolk Broads which we try to get down to at least six times a year on Thunder. We have a syndicate share and half and love each season.

I started my Norfolk Broads journey when I was twelve when my uncle and grandmother took myself and my brother Geoff on the Broads whilst our mum struggled through the latter stage of pregnancy with our sister Collette.

Uncle Syd bought us both telescopic rods and taught us the basics of fishing and we were both hooked. Hooked on fishing and the Broads. It would be seven years later when we both returned to the Broads on a boat from Beccles. We spent two weeks cruising every nook and cranny of the Broads and have great memories that will last forever.

I have lost count of the number of times I have returned since that first time, but still find the place as magical as I did as a child.
