Channel Description
We are a small homestead just outside of Raleigh NC, in the small town of Clayton. Our beautiful homestead is made up of just under 3.5 acres on which we planted several hundred edible plants, trees, and shrubs, along with pollinator plants, natives, culinary and medicinal herbs, and more! We aspire to live in harmony with nature and we strive to be good stewards of the land. Our focus is regenerative gardening and we hope to inspire others to do the same.
We are federally certified as a Wildlife Habitat, state-certified as a Pollinator Pathway, and a state-certified garden nursery. Kindred Acres is a permaculture teaching facility where we host classes and workshops, post how-to videos, and offer work trades. Because we are a private facility, we are open by appointment only or during our scheduled events/classes/sales.
