Philosophical Solace Channel Description Snapshot

Channel Description

A channel for philosophical counseling and existential therapy.

Hi, welcome to my channel! I'm a philosophical counselor with a PhD in existentialism and the philosophy of education. I am also certified as a philosophical consultant by the National Philosophical Counseling Association in the U.S. On this channel, I offer free lectures on philosophy and share thoughts about life based on my expertise. Sometimes, I also comment on the existential underpinnings of movies, shows, and songs I love.

The name "philosophical solace" is inspired by the medieval thinker Anicius Manlius T. S. Boethius’s timeless work, On the Consolation of Philosophy, where philosophy helps him cope with his most difficult experiences as a senior official in Rome. Philosophical Solace stems from the belief that philosophy, once accessible only to a small, privileged segment of society, should be democratized to serve everyone and help each person lead a more fulfilling life.
