Steve Young is a British Guitarist & Songwriter. He is also a Teacher, Corporate Entertainer and Band Coach.
In May 2024 he became the centre of a global news story as the first person in the world to receive a new mRNA Cancer Vaccine. Shortly after he met King Charles III during a London visit
Since 2014 Steve Young has written and released three albums. In 2024 Steve began work on a new album called ‘Famous For A Day’ He told BBC News “Writing & Recording Music is my identity, as long as I am playing guitar, teaching & writing songs then all is ok with me”
Earlier in his career he performed with Darren Hayes (Savage Garden) 2007-2012 and co-wrote & recorded guitar on his album 'Secret Codes & Battleships'
In 2011 he worked with West End Theatre Star - Ramin Karlimloo forming a project called 'Broadway to Bluegrass' which toured in the UK, USA, Canada & S.Korea.
In 1996 he signed with ZTT/Warner before going on to become a session guitarist for Lionel Richie, Peter Andre
