L.I.F.E. Balkan & International dancing with Sherry Cochran on Friday nights at 8pm.
Hybrid sessions live in-person and via Zoom at LA DanceFit in West Los Angeles. Classes with Sherry and guests, frequent special workshops with master teachers, live music events, and weekly dance parties with Sherry's kick-ass request program.
Friday Night L.I.F.E. derives its name from L.I.F.E. (Los Angeles International Folkdance Extravaganza), Sherry's all live-music dance and music camp. L.I.F.E. Camp ran from 1994-1997 at Pomona College and brought together the best artists of the time for an exuberant celebration of Balkan Dance and Music.
Sherry has been teaching a weekly Balkan dance class in Los Angeles continuously since 1976.
