Do It Yourself Hunter

Do It Yourself Hunter features DIY hunting all across the US on public and private land since 2002. In 2003 our show was on the Outdoor Channel. Then we took a break from the show - raising 3 girls took time. They are older now so I thought this was a good time to get back to filming full-time. I have been filming off and on all these years and hunting with family and friends. In 2020, I got Daniel Lemmon, friend and fellow hunter, involved in the filming and editing side. Daniel reminds me of myself at that age with his passion for hunting. I had a lot help and encouragement from older hunters who took me out west on hunts. These trips basically inspired me toward hunting public lands across the US and giving back to other young hunters like Daniel. By showcasing our films, we hope to inspire other hunters to get out of their comfort zones, explore new areas, and hunt public areas in the US so that we can help protect these lands and pass on the traditions of hunting.
