Reachin' Reverie

Hello, I'm Alex. My other half, Josh, & I are building a mini-Homestead on 5 acres to be more self-sustainable & healthier. We just moved out of our rural small town & onto a plot of raw land, with the hopes of turning our new-to-us property into a real homestead. As we navigate life while laying down some roots, we have started our adventure by raising chickens, growing a garden, planting the first trees in our orchard, & breaking ground for the foundation of our home as we build structures on our property.
We added Power, Water, & Septic to the picture, even dropping our own Well. Working a project at a time.
Life is good, though we try to be better every day. Reverie is a dreamlike state, or loosely: nostalgia. We are Reachin' to turn our dreams into reality so that one day we can look back in Reverie at the life we've built together. My hope is that through your screen we can share our journey, our experiences, & help you: As a virtual friend, or with tips from what we've done.
