I'm a gardener, teacher, musician, artist, mother, and anarchist.
If future intelligent beings studied our human histories they might conclude the following:
Humans were a fragile species, designed for the tropics, for lovemaking, for playfulness, for tenderness. Hairless, clawless, fangless, scaleless, poisonless, they were not designed for brutality or cruelty, nor even battle. In the end, the rampant mental illness that resulted from their confusion about this was a direct result from their misconception that they were naturally cruel, brutal, and warlike and that only power could complete them.
In fact, they were the complete opposite. But they forgot.
