Hi Everyone,

I am a dance athlete/professional that travels the world about 40 weeks per year teaching, performing, socializing, and consulting. In addition to my main job, I am a serious outdoor enthusiast, gear outfitter, and educator.

I am total gear-head when it comes to outdoor and travel gear; I know gear is very personal to each hiker or traveler, hence, HYOH. My goal is to test and review gear; giving my viewers my recommendations, advice, and thoughts.

I’ve recommended and sold gear to many customers while working at REI (USA) and Fjällräven. After logging over two-million miles, 58 countries, and many cities. This has given me valuable insight into both backpacking, traveling and all the gear; hopefully, I can help you when selecting the right gear for your adventures.

I live between Singapore, Japan, Finland, Sweden and many other countries; Bend, OR is where I call home when in the USA.
