Cherry Rat was the name adopted by Gabi Halstead in December 2010 as a Brazilian rockabilly singer, songwriter and pinup model that now resides in Las Vegas, NV - USA and was published in many different pinup magazines, calendars and catalogs for different brands on the Rockabilly scene as a statement of her modeling career and was also nominated for the Best Female Rockabilly Singer Award at the Ameripolitan Music Awards in 2019 solidifying her name in the Rockabilly Music industry.
Before that, Gabi, under the name Cherry Rat, released her first album "Bop to The Hell" in 2014 with the band Cherry Rat & Os Gatunos and since then she's been playing on the most important stages of the rockabilly scene around the world: In Brazil, Gabi played at Timbre Festival, Ilha Cultural, Psycho Carnival and others. In the USA, she already played at Rockabilly Reunion, in Arizona, a couple times at Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend the World’s largest rockabilly event and at Nashville Boogie.
