Carolina Country_Farm

In 2015 we purchased a 115 year old farm that has not been worked in over 60 years. The first step was to decide which direction we were going to head, produce or livestock. Livestock was the easiest choice for us since it is what we were most familiar with. The second step was surveying the property to determine how viable the existing fencing was and if repair or replacement was needed. It was a 50/50. With fence mending completed we started the process of adding livestock little bits at a time. Follow our journey of small scale farming with a few off-topic ventures here and there.
