Pushpaarpanam Dance Group (PDG), was established in the year 2001 by its founder, Mdm K.Pushpalatha Palanisamy — an indian classical dance trainer in the People's Association (PA) and Co-Curriculum Activities (CCA) instructor in Ministry of Education (MOE).
PDG is a Singapore-based, indian classical dance group which aspires to promote the indian tradition and culture, through the practice of the oldest art form — Bharatanatyam. PDG observes the Pandanallur-Kalakshetra Bani (Style) of Bharatanatyam. In addition, with respect to the evolving arts scene, PDG also adopts other genres of indian dance such as Classical Fusion, Folk, Bollywood & Modern-Contemporary.
PDG has staged and continues to perform all around Singapore for different occasions & events, as well as overseas dance programs & projects.
