Hi i’m Ian living the OFF GRID dream in a remote area of Scotland, I’m in the process of building my off grid wooden cabin/homestead which i live in with my old friend for many years Kevin & my Labradors, we’re diving into this chapter of our lives with no building experience just learning as we go along, we cook our meals on a log burning stove which Is were we get our hot water & heat from i generate all my electricity from my off grid solar system which I installed myself we’ve got some big building projects planned for 2026.
